As a representative of the classic school, this unique scent can be very easily misunderstood by the contemporary generation as "old granny perfume", as we already many times read in comments, about vintage perfumery masterpieces.
Despite, being reformulated, it's still not enough appreciated nowadays. The effect from the reformulation affected its true sound and long-lasting power, as its fan's comments are showing.
THE PERFUME
THE PERFUME
"A fresh feminine floral bouquet with spicy woody undertones, opening a bottle of blue grass is like an instant trip to the countryside on a warm summer day."
The perfume pyramid is very rich of components:
TOP NOTES:
Rose, Jasmine, Lily, Lavender, Geranium, Orange Blossom
HEART NOTES:
Clove, Laurel, Vetiver
BASE NOTES:
Sandalwood, Virginian Cedar, Musk
The perfume opens in fresh aldehydic notes with Sweet Orange blossom, strong Lily presence, the other top notes are fading very quickly after the initial spray.
The perfume settles down very quickly in the heart notes, which are leading by the dominant present of Clove, accompanied by Laurel and hint of Vetiver.
The common perfume line is: sweet Carnation and floral bouquet, calming on the base of sweet natural Sandalwood, Musk, listened in the Base. Floral-resin sweetness, which reminds about the sweetness of "VANDERBILT" by Gloria Vanderbilt.
About the name "BLUE GRASS", it invokes the Nature's impressions of wet grass, early morning, when the Sun is just about to rise up. The air is wet and saturated with the sweetness of the blooming blossoms. That mystic moment, when the whole Nature is waking up for the new day.

CONCLUSIONS
This perfume is classic, floral, soft, calming, feminine, tender.
It opens very beautiful and stays close to the skin. In environmental temperature changes - cold temperature, or under water, it revives and shines again.
It stays on the skin several hours (depends on the skin chemistry and type - cold or warm, too).

Suitable for daywear, but evening - also possible.
Because of its specific classical character, it may stay misunderstood, from the latest generations.
That's why, I advice you - try, before you buy.
