The perfume has been created specially for her Diamond anniversary and it's a gift from The Royal Society of Chemistry.
The scent is inspired by diamonds and the 1950's and the Perfumers Stephene Bengana and Ange Stavrevka made the aroma reflective of the length of time the queen has held the throne (by using fragrances that were characteristically worn at the time of her coronation).

The perfume has a light sweet scent formed from peach and pear notes combined with Lily of the valley, rose, and Tuberose oils.
The fragrance contains notes of cedar, Canadian, Indian Jasmine, Jamaican Pimento Leafand delicate aroma of cinnamon from Sri Lanka. Scent possesses an exotic touch of allspice and Australian sandalwood. So, fragrances of all countries of the former British Empire, are mixed in the most unique perfume since the time of Cleopatra.

The perfume will not be made available for the public to buy, because it's a highly personal creation to reflect the queen's personality.
"The RSC, of which the Queen is Patron, wished to mark her Majesty's jubilee in a special fashion and with her agreement, we set about creating something that would echo her own interests while having a unique aroma," - the President of the Royal Society of Chemistry, Professor Lesley Yellowlees, revealed.
He also said, that the Perfume has been named Adamas, the Greek word for diamond - αδαμάντας.
The Fragrance has been given to the Queen in bespoke crystal bottle,specially designed by Yorkshire glass makers David Saunders and Andrew Wallace. This bottle was made from recycled red, gold and pink glass fashioned from Darlington crystal.

Silent Night, Holy Night
Text: Joseph Mohr, 1792-1848; trans. by John F. Young, 1820-1885 (sts 1, 2, 3) and anon. (st
Music: Franz Gruber, 1787-1863
Tune: STILLE NACHT, Meter: Irr.
1. Silent night, holy night,
all is calm, all is bright
round yon virgin
mother and child.
Holy infant, so tender and mild,
sleep in heavenly peace,
sleep in heavenly peace.
2. Silent night, holy night,
shepherds quake at the sight;
glories stream from heaven afar,
heavenly hosts sing Alleluia!
Christ the Savior is born,
Christ the Savior is born!
3. Silent night, holy night,
Son of God, love's pure light;
radiant beams from thy holy face
with the dawn of redeeming grace,
Jesus, Lord, at thy birth,
Jesus, Lord, at thy birth.
4. Silent night, holy night,
wondrous star, lend thy light;
with the angels let us sing,
Alleluia to our King;
Christ the Savior is born,
Christ the Savior is born!
