DIAMONDS AND SAPPHIRES by ELIZABETH TAYLOR were launched in 1993, and it can be classified as Floral-Fruity fragrance.
It can be described as pure, clear, soft, light, tender scent.

This perfume composition is also rich of many components, despite it has only few main notes, which are forming the common appearance.
The perfume opens with very fresh Lily-of-the-Valley+Melon+Galbanum line, which has slightly emerging Freesia and Peach. The heart notes are awakening and shining slightly with calm Rhubarb line, watery like Jasmine (hardly detected) and soft Rose. The spices are also there, but also very soft. From the Base notes, more calmly sounding is the soft Musk.

HEART NOTES:
Jasmine, Ylang-Ylang, Rhubarb, Spices, Rose
BASE NOTES:
Sandalwood, Amber, Musk, Vetiver
Just imagine - you are staying in garden, in lovely Spring day, and on the table in front of you there is rich Lily-of-the-Valley bouquet, a bowl, full of fresh cut Melon and some pieces of Peach. You are feeling the fresh intense flowers scent and from time to time, the breeze is bringing to your nose the scent of the fruits. But all these notes are not intense. They are somehow aquatically light.
On the background of all these wonderful garden, are soloing pure Lily-of-the-Valley bouquet, accompanied by fresh creamy delicious Melon and Peach. This is the main line of the perfume, which stays from the beginning till the fading away of the scent.
This lovely scent has it's thin-sister in the face of SPLENDOUR by ELIZABETH ARDEN - another lovely, pure, clean mainly Lily-of-the-Valley scent, which has very rich, mostly flowery bouquet composition.

CONCLUSIONS
Very beautiful, light, clean, floral and aquatic like scent.
As I already described, its solo note is Lily-of-the-Valley, supported with fresh cut delicious creamy Melon and scent of fresh Peach.
So, if you are into the Lily-of-the-Valley scents, this one might be your choice.
Long lasting, good projection.
Suitable for daytime wear, all seasons, all ages.
