SUNFLOWERS by Elizabeth Arden is the first fragrance - launched in 1993, from the same name line.
The nose, created this sunny jewel is David Apel.
It's indeed very optimistic, bright and full of light, sunny and creamy-floral scent.
"Bright. Light-Hearted. Happy. A celebration of summer's simplicity and joy, this fragrance opens with sparkling fresh fruits that gradually unfold into rich florals at full bloom."
It's very accurate!
The spirit of this wonderful and simple composition is holiday spirit and mood - sun, beach, outdoor activity, nature, happiness, vitality, energy, healthiness, positivism.
The pyramid of the fragrance, according to the manufacturer:
TOP NOTES:
Bergamot, Melon, Peach, Osmanthus
HEART NOTES:
Jasmine, Cyclamen
BASE NOTES:
Sandalwood, Moss
It contains also Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Extract.
With the first spray, from the top notes emerges Bergamot together with Peach and creamy Melon, with point of Orange blossom and Rosewood.
After some time, the heart notes sounds loudly as it gradually develops on the skin and you can feel bright Cyclamen with calm Jasmine, but the Bergamot is still dominant and heart-lifting.
When it settles down, the Sandalwood and the depth of the Moss are joining to the group of notes.
This fragrance doesn't transform with every stage, but the notes are accumulating and it becomes happier as "sound", but softly transforms (or more precisely said - calms down) into creamy-floral.
The common impressions from this fragrance is the following - just imagine, you are on field with Sunflowers, the Sun shines and you feel the scent of their yellow sun kissed leafs.

The fragrance comes in 50 ml and 100 ml, EDT, spray, glass transparent bottle, with simple clear design and white matte plastic cap.
The name of the fragrance stays with relief letters on the glass, under the cap.
